Legal Analysis of Iron Sand Mining Conflict in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta

The facts on the ground show that most mining in Indonesia is carried out using an open pit so it has impact environmental damage. This study aims to determine factors cause iron sand conflicts and develop a concept of conflict resolution Kulonprogo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. research method used juridical-empirical law research, with juridical case approach, which then analyzed qualitatively. results this are broadly classified as occurred Kulon Progo Region, can be divided into two, namely nuanced or legal (legal conflicts) social (social conflicts).
